1½ yoghurts

300g plain flour
1 tsp fresh yeast
2 eggs
2 yoghurts
1 tbsp ghee or oil
1 tsp brown sugar
4 pinches salt
Method (all Magimix Food Processor models):
- Combine yoghurts and eggs in bowl with dough hook.
- Add ghee (or oil).
- Set aside.
- Mix flour, sugar yeast and salt in bowl with dough hook.
- Add to yoghurt/eggs mix.
- Process to form a firm ball of dough.
- Put dough in a large bowl.
- Cover with damp tea towel.
- Leave to rise for 3 hours.
- Preheat grill to 210 deg C (gas mark 6/7).
- Lightly knead dough.
- Divide into equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a ball.
- Flatten to a circle about 10mm thick.
- Brush both sides with melted butter.
- Bake under grill for 5 minutes.
- Turn over and bake for a further 5 minutes.
- Wrap naans in tea towel to keep hot.
- Serve hot.
Is 1/2 yogurts, half a cup of yogurt?
ReplyDelete1/2 yoghurt refers to half a pot of yoghurt. I use the standard 120g pots, so half a pot is 60g. Hope this helps :)
