Spring Salad with Basil

Serves: 2 to (4)
Preparation Time: 7 minutes
Ingredients:
2 (4) tomatoes
2 (4) baby turnips
½ (½) bunch of radishes
150g (200g) french beans
150g (200g) mangetout peas
3 tbsp (4 tbsp) olive oil
1 (1) pinch ground cumin
1½ (2) lemons basil leaves to taste
salt and pepper to taste

MAGIMIX 4200:
Serves: 6
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
6 tomatoes
6 baby turnips
¾ bunch of radishes
300g french beans
300g mangetout peas
6 tbsp olive oil
2 pinches ground cumin
3 lemons
basil leaves to taste
salt and pepper to taste

MAGIMIX 5200:
Serves: 8
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
8 tomatoes
8 baby turnips
1 bunch of radishes
400g french beans
400g mangetout peas
8 tbsp olive oil
2 pinches ground cumin
3 lemons
basil leaves to taste
salt and pepper to taste

Method (all models):

  1. Peel the turnips.
  2. Wash radishes and cut off green tops.
  3. Slice the turnips using the 2mm slicing disc.
  4. Repeat with the radishes.
  5. String the beans and mangetout.
  6. Boil beans and mangtout for 10 minutes in lightly salted water.
  7. Drain and refresh in cold water.
  8. Wash and dry the tomatoes.
  9. Slice using the 4mm slicing disc.
  10. Transfer all processed ingredients to a large bowl.
  11. Place bowl in fridge.
  12. Squeeze lemons for the juice.
  13. Place basil leaves and cumin in the mini bowl.
  14. Blend for 1 minute,
  15. Add lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper via the feed tube.
  16. Pour dressing over vegetables.
  17. Combine carefully.
  18. Serve cold.
