Bread

Serves: 2 to (4)
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Rising Time: 2½ hours
Baking Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
175g (350g) plain flour
12g (25g) fresh yeast
½ tsp (1 tsp) salt
¼ tsp (½ tsp) sugar
80ml (165ml) water

MAGIMIX 4200:
Serves: 6
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Rising Time: 2½ hours
Baking Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
500g plain flour
40g fresh yeast
2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
250ml water

MAGIMIX 5200:
Serves: 8
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Rising Time: 2½ hours
Baking Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
650g plain flour
45g fresh yeast
2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
300ml water

Method (all Magimix Food Processor models):
  1. Fit dough hook.
  2. Tip flour, salt and sugar into bowl.
  3. Switch on.
  4. Dissolve yeast in water and pour in via feed tube, with processor running.
  5. Blend for 1 minute to form a ball of dough.
  6. Allow to rest for 30 minutes in processor bowl, with pusher in place.
  7. Pulse 3 to 4 times to 'knock down' dough.
  8. Dust with flour and place in cake tin.
  9. Leave to 'prove' for approximately 2 hours.
  10. Preheat oven to 210°C (gas mark 6/7)and bake.
  11. Allow to cool before eating.
For a crustier loaf, leave to bake for an extra 10 minutes.
