Ham and Olive Cake

Serves: 2 to (4)
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 20minutes (40 minutes)
Ingredients:
100g (200g) plain flour
2 (3) eggs
1tsp (½tbsp) baking powder
30ml (60ml) olive oil
65g (125g) gruyere cheese
½ (1) thick slice of ham
30g (50g) stoned olives
30ml (60ml) white wine
Salt and pepper to taste

MAGIMIX 4200:
Serves: 6
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 50 minutes
Ingredients:
300g plain flour
4 eggs
¾tbsp baking powder
90ml olive oil
190g gruyere cheese
1½ thick slices of ham
75g stoned olives
90ml white wine
Salt and pepper to taste

MAGIMIX 5200:
Serves: 8
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
400g plain flour
6 eggs
1 tbsp baking powder
120ml olive oil
250g gruyere cheese
2 thick slices of ham
100g stoned olives
120ml white wine
Salt and pepper to taste

Method (all models):
  1. Preheat oven to 108 deg C (gas mark 4).
  2. Grate cheese into the midi bowl using the 2mm grating disk.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Cut ham into large chunks.
  5. Pulse-chop half the olives and half the ham using the metal blade.
  6. Add flour, baking powder, salt, oil, eggs, wine and the grated cheese.
  7. Pulse 4 to 5 times.
  8. Blend for 40 seconds.
  9. Add the rest of the ham and olives via the feed tube.
  10. Pulse twice to combine well.
  11. Season.
  12. Pour the mixture into a well buttered cake tin.
  13. Bake for the required time as above.
  14. Allow to cool.
  15. Turn out of tin and serve.
