Wholemeal Granary Loaf

Baking Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
110g (225g) wholemeal flour
40g (75g) white flour
10g (20g) softened butter
1 egg
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
£frac12; tsp demerara sugar
1 tbsp molasses*
100ml (200ml) milk
50ml (100ml) yoghurt
1 tbsp (2 tbsp) sesame seeds
1 tbsp (2 tbsp) sunflower seeds (or linseed)
½ tsp salt

MAGIMIX 4200:
Serves: 6
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Baking Time: 50 minutes
Ingredients:
340g wholemeal flour
115g white flour
30g softened butter
2 eggs
2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp demerara sugar
2 tbsp molasses*
300ml milk
150ml yoghurt
3 tbsp sesame seeds
3 tbsp sunflower seeds (or linseed)
1 tsp salt

MAGIMIX 5200:
Serves: 8
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Baking Time: 60 minutes
Ingredients:
450g wholemeal flour
150g white flour
40g softened butter
2 eggs
2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp demerara sugar
2 tbsp molasses*
400ml milk
200ml yoghurt
4 tbsp sesame seeds
4 tbsp sunflower seeds (or linseed)
1 tsp salt

Method (all Magimix Food Processor models):
  1. Combine the flours and bicarbonate of soda in bowl with dough hook.
  2. Add butter.
  3. Blend for 30 seconds
  4. Add the egg, molasses, milk, yoghurt and seeds.
  5. Knead to obtain a fairly stiff dough.
  6. Place dough in buttered tin.
  7. Preheat oven to 200 deg C (gas mark 6).
  8. Bake for prescribed Baking Time.
* Use honey if you cannot source molasses.
