Raisin Buns

Serves: 2 to (4)
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Rising Time: 2 hours
Baking Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
150g (300g) plain flour
8g (15g) fresh yeast
20g (40g) butter
30g (40g) caster sugar
80ml (160ml) milk
½tsp vanilla flavoured sugar
75g (150g) raisins

Ingredients:
450g plain flour
20g fresh yeast
60g butter
90g caster sugar
280ml milk
1 tsp vanilla flavoured sugar
225g raisins

MAGIMIX 5200:
Serves: 8
Preparation Time: 7 minutes
Rising Time: 2 hours
Baking Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
600g plain flour
30g fresh yeast
75g butter
120g caster sugar
360ml milk
1 tsp vanilla flavoured sugar
300g raisins

Method (all Magimix Food Processor models):
  1. Melt butter in saucepan.
  2. Add milk.
  3. Dissolve yeast in a small bowl with a little water.
  4. Combine the sugars and flour in bowl with dough hook.
  5. Add diluted yeast and butter/milk mixture via feed tube.
  6. Blend thoroughly.
  7. Leave dough in food processor bowl to rise for 1 hour.
  8. Add raisins via feed tube.
  9. Knock down dough by pulsing 4 to 5 times.
  10. Transfer dough to a large bowl.
  11. Leave to rise for 1 hour at room temperature.
  12. Divide dough into small buns.
  13. Arrange on baking tray.
  14. Leave to prove for a few minutes.
  15. Pre-heat oven to 180 deg C (gas mark 4).
  16. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
